Newsline: Championing Our Community Together

Newsline Update

We want to share an upcoming change to our Chamber newsletter, Newsline, that we’re excited about. Beginning now, the Chamber newsletter will transition from a monthly publication to a bi-monthly schedule. The next issue will be a March/April issue; we will then publish May/June, July/August, September/October, November/December. These issues will be released during the first week of the first month of each of the issues listed here. The newsletter will continue to be available on our website, and will be promoted via e-mail to our members, and to the community at large on our social media outlets. We will also continue to print a number of copies to have available at events, to promote to potential and new members, and more.
One of the biggest reasons for this shift is to give our newsletter advertisers stronger, more sustained visibility. With fewer issues published each year, ads will remain in front of readers longer, helping our member businesses receive greater exposure and value from their marketing investment.
In addition to enhanced advertising impact, this new schedule allows us to deliver an even higher-quality publication. A bi-monthly format gives us more time to gather meaningful stories, highlight member milestones, and feature in-depth spotlights on businesses, programs, and community partnerships. Rather than shorter updates spread across many issues, we’ll be able to provide richer, more engaging content.
This change also helps us use our resources more effectively. By streamlining production, we can focus additional energy on other member communications including timely weekly e-blasts, event promotions, and social media highlights, ensuring you continue to receive important news and opportunities as they happen. As well, adjusting the frequency helps manage costs while still maintaining a strong, professional publication that reflects the quality and credibility of our Chamber and its members.
Most importantly, this shift supports our overall goal: delivering communications that are valuable, readable, and beneficial to our membership. We believe this refreshed approach will create a newsletter you’ll look forward to reading and a marketing platform that works even harder for the businesses who advertise and are featured in its pages.
As always, any news about your business including any updates, employee hires, new products, or anything else you want to promote is welcome on these pages. Also, we welcome new advertisers. For a rate card, please contact Jessica Valachovic, Outreach and Membership Associate at membership@fultonmontgomeryny.org. To submit any news about your business for the newsletter, please reach out to newsline@fultonmontgomeryny.org.
Thank you for your continued support, engagement, and partnership. We’re proud to represent such a vibrant business community and look forward to sharing this next chapter of Chamber communications with you.
